In September 2019 NTUU "KPI them. Igor Sikorsky" was visited by a delegation of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP) headed by its President Professor Petro Shymchak.

   It should be noted that this is the third meeting with the President of SEP in the kpi.     The parties agreed on promising directions of scientific, technical and economic cooperation and signed a framework agreement on commonwealth between the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the Association of Polish Electricians.

   The President of SEP got himself acquainted with innovative technologies of teaching students at the Department of Electromechanics, and also visited new expositions of the State Polytechnic Museum.

  On behalf of thousands of staff of teachers, staff and students, rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv National University. Igor Sikorsky M.Z. Zgurovsky sent a welcome letter to the President of SEP on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Association of Polish Electricians.

New horizons of the commonwealth of engineers - electricians of Ukraine and Poland

June 9 NTUU "KPI them. Igor Sikorsky" was visited by a delegation of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP) headed by its President Professor Petro Shymchak. It should be noted that this is the second meeting with the President of SEP within the walls of the KPI. The first meeting of the SEP delegation took place with teachers and students of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automation in April 2015.

The Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP) is the largest non-governmental creative organization in Poland, operating in the social and social interests, founded in 1919 by engineers - representatives of the electrical industry. Today, this voluntary community unites almost 23,000 engineers - electricians of all specialties, whose professional activity is associated with electrical engineering in its broad sense, as well as legal entities interested in the activities of such an association.

Vice-Rector of NTUU "KPI", Director of the Ukrainian-Polish Center NTUU "KPI" Prof. S.I. Sydorenko informed the Polish delegation about the directions and results of multilateral cooperation of Igor Sydorenko Kyiv National University. Igor Sikorsky with universities and public organizations of Poland.
SEP President Petr Shymchak acquainted the attendees with the history, directions of activity and the program of implementation of a number of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of SEP, which is celebrated this year.
Head of the Department of Electromechanics Prof. V.F. Shynkarenko stressed the important role of training highly qualified engineers of energy, electromechanical and electrotechnical specialties, which is due to the growing volumes of electricity consumption, trends in the global transition to electric traction, the development of robotics and electrotechnology.
The parties discussed and agreed on promising directions of scientific, technical and economic cooperation between KPI and SEP.

The Polish delegation also visited the monument erected on the territory of the university, a graduate and teacher of the KPI - a prominent Polish physicist and statesman Wojciech Sventoslavsky, who graduated from the KPI in 1906, later worked at universities in Moscow and Warsaw, was the rector of the Warsaw Polytechnic and the Minister of Education of Poland.

International partnership

     April 21, 2015 at the Department of Electromechanics at the scientific seminar "Structural and system researchers in Electromechanics" were presetn president of the Association of Polish Engineers-electricians, professor Peter Szymczak, director of the Electric machines and drives Institut "Komel", professor Yacoub Bernatt and Silesian University of Technology Professor Tadeusz Glinka.

     Starting from 18 to 20 November 2011 at the Technical University of Gabrovo (Bulgaria) hosted the XI Annual International Scientific Conference UNITECH'11, in which representatives from 20 countries in Europe and Asia.
     During the period of the scientific forum there were made 287 papers in 19 sections. Representative delegation of NTUU "KPI" led by curator long-term cooperation between our university and TU Gabrovo prof. Yu.M.Kuznyetsovym. The delegation included: Ph.D. M.I.Prokof'yev, prof. V.F.Shynkarenko, prof. O.M.Yahno and their graduate students - O.Stepanenko, Y.Haydayenko A Muraschenko and doctoral S.Stas.

Dear FAA students and postgraduate students

     We inform you about the announcement of the competition for students and postgraduates of NTUU "KPI" for short-term study in a partner university, namely at the Technical University of Dresden (Germany). Training can take place in any specialty, which is represented in the TU Dresden.

    Two scholarships for studying in the summer semester 2015/2016 (April – August) are offered. Funding is provided within the framework of the Georgius Agrichol Scholarship Program (approximate scholarship amount is 450 €/month).

   Documents should be submitted to the Academic Mobility Department (see the contacts of the department below). The deadline for applications is January 11, 2016. Candidates should take into account that due to the New Year holidays, the Department of Academic Mobility of Students will be closed from January 1 to January 10, 2016.

3) Project with University College Dublin (Ireland). For bachelors of physics and technology institute in the direction of "Computer Science". Students will be trained in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year. Training will be held in English, the presence of an international toefl or IELTS certificate is required.

4) Project with Vilnius Technical University named after Gedyminas (Lithuania). For bachelors, masters, teaching staff of all faculties of NTUU "KPI" in the areas of:
•    Mechanics and metal trades;
•    Engineering and engineering trades;
•    Information and Communication technologies
          
Training for students will take place in the first semester of the 2016/2017 academic year, internship for teachers (week) can take place in any period from May 2016 to May 2017.
The scientific and pedagogical staff has the opportunity to give lectures (at least 8 hours a week) at the host faculty. In order to obtain consent from the relevant faculty, the candidate must contact the responsible person of the international office of the relevant faculty and agree on a list of courses and an internship plan.
