Abstract to working curriculum module credit of the course "Electrical machines"
The purpose of the credit module is to develop the students abilities:
• understanding of the design, classification and principle of electrical machines, transformers, induction machines and DC machines.
• understanding of the theory of electrical machines and their mathematical models in the form of electrical circuits.
• understanding methods of calculation parameters and characteristics of electrical machines (current, voltage and power) in sustainable modes.
• understand the overall process of manufacturing and testing of electrical machines.
The main task of these credit module.
According to the requirements of the program discipline students after mastering credit module must demonstrate the following learning outcomes:
knowledge, design and principle of electrical machines, transformers, induction machines, DC machines and electrical machinery automation systems.
skills: perform mathematical calculations parameters and characteristics of electrical machines, transformers and choose electric cars practical for specific conditions;
Experience: pilot study parameters and characteristics of electrical machines, transformers, induction machines and dc machines in the laboratory.
Description of the credit module of the course " Electrical machines "
The credit value of the module "Electrical machines" training of specialists of educational and qualification level (EQL) "bachelor" in the direction of "Welding" in the field " Electrical bonding " is the formation of the students' abilities and skills in carrying out the responsibilities of the production functions and typical tasks of activity of the expert. As a result of studying the credit module students gain knowledge on construction, principle of operation, the essence of the physical phenomena and processes in electric machines, the model of mathematical methods to calculate and study of electric machines, their main characteristics.
In the structural-logical scheme of the educational plan of specialists training the credit module "Electrical machines" provides a link with credit modules such subjects as "Power sources for bonding ", "Theory of the electric motor drive ", "Theory of automatic control".
